Idolo

Idolo Americano is a 16.1 hand 2003 PRE Stallion by Idilio out of Escapada. He embodies the best of both of his parents, and is beginning his dressage career in 2008. His exceptional gaits and powerful conformation have led to the first PRE to win the distinguished Breeder's Born in the USA Award in 2007 at the Devon Horse Show.

Idolo began his show career in 2009 ridden by Maria Lithander, with his first scores over 70% at training level. In 2010, he was competed through Second Level with very high scores, finishing the year with the Second Level Reserve Championship at the Region II Finals in Traverse City in September.

In November, Idolo was flown to Malaga, Spain, to continue his training, now with Daniel Martin Dockx who has been training Encanto XI for HGF since 2007. We look forward to a Prix St. George debut for Idolo some time in 2011.
